Red skin patches on the skin covered with thick and silvery scales tops among the symptoms of psoriasis –

They are also known by the name of inverse psoriasis. This symptom usually occurs on the folds of the body. It means the area like elbows, knees, groin, armpits, etc. The red patches on these body parts are quite irritating and itchy.

Patches on the scalp –

Some people make a mistake by thinking it to be dandruff. In the case of dandruff, the patches are white, flaky, and dry. Whereas in the case of psoriasis the patches have a red or silvery tint.

Blisters or pustules on the body –

This type of psoriasis is very pathetic. In this condition, larger areas of the body are affected. In this condition instead of patches and scaly flakes, flares of pustules appear on the body.

An itching sensation or burning sensation on the skin –

If the psoriasis is on the scalp then it itches and pains a lot. Both these conditions interfere with the daily life of the person and interfere with the lifestyle.

Dry and cracked skin –

If we talk about the skin condition it turns out to be dry, cracked, and in severe condition, it might bleed. The painful plaques on the hands and feet hinder daily life activities.

Stiffed and painful joints –

The problem of the skin can also affect the joints. The condition where the joints become stiffed and painful is known as psoriatic joints. In most people, both the symptoms of joint pain and skin problem shows at the same time. Whereas in some cases the joint pain symptoms appear just before the problem of psoriasis develops.
